Stark City woman, Strafford residents injured in collision near Monett

Three people were injured in a two-vehicle accident 2 p.m. today on U. S. 60, five miles west of Monett.

According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2002 GMC Yukon driven by Austin Field, 20, Strafford, struck a 2006 Peterbilt propane truck driven by Jason A. Hart, 46, Stark City, as it was making a left turn.

Field and a passenger in his vehicle, Katelyn Hope, 23, Stark City, were treated for moderate injuries at Mercy Hospital, Joplin. Another passenger in the vehicle, a two-year-old boy, was treated for minor injuries at Mercy.

(This post has been changed from the earlier version due to mistakes I made on the last name of one of those who was injured in and which vehicle she was in.)
