Six people were injured in a two-vehicle collision 1:20 p.m. on I-44, one mile west of Sarcoxie.
According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2014 Chevrolet Impala driven by Julia A. Collier, 37, Miami, Oklahoma, struck a 2014 Honda Pilot driven by Jason E. Boyer, 44, Lee's Summit, in the rear.
Collier was treated for moderate injuries at Mercy Hospital, Joplin.
Five passengers in the Boyer vehicle, Julianne E. Thomas, 21, Jeanine R. Boyer, 42, a seven-year-old girl and five and nine-year-old boys, were treated for minor injuries at Mercy Hospital, Springfield.
