Agenda posted for Missouri Southern Board of Governors meeting

The Missouri Southern State University Board of Governors will meet at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 16, in Billingsly Student Center’s Connor Ballroom.

An agenda for the meeting is featured below.

In addition, there will be a closed Personnel/Compensation Committee meeting at 10 a.m. in BSC 341. The Academic Affairs Committee will meet at 11 a.m. in BSC 356, while the Budget Audit Committee will meet at 11 a.m. in BSC 309.

Following the board’s open session, there will be a closed executive session in BSC 309 under:

RSMo 610.021 (1) Legal actions, causes of action or litigation involving a public governmental body and any confidential or privileged communications between a public governmental body or its representatives and its attorneys.








RSMo 610.021(3) relating to “hiring, firing, disciplining or promoting of particular employees by a public governmental body when personal information about the employee is discussed or recorded.”

  1. Sounds like someone is getting ready to be axed from the not-so-great university. And the university is worried they will have a fallout from it. You can only do so many people wrong there before it catches up with you.
