(From the Seneca Police Department)The Police Department has recently seen an increase of scam calls with subjects posing as representatives of the Social Security Office, stating your Social Security Number has been used in a crime and your benefits will be cut off if you do not send money.
Please understand this is not how the Social Security Office works.
Please do not provide your Social Security Number, Banking information or Date of Birth.
THIS IS A SCAM! If you have any question please contact the Police Department.
