Carl Junction residents injured in collision in Stone's Corner roundabout

Two Carl Junction residents were injured in a two-vehicle accident 11:55 a.m. Sunday at the Stone's Corner Roundabout at MO 43 and MO 171.

According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2013 Jeep Wrangler driven by a 15-year-old Carl Junction girl, which was northbound in the center lane attempted to enter the roundabout and pulled into the path of a 2002 Buick Park Avenue driven by Patricia G. Wilson, 85, Joplin, which was eastbound on 171 and was already in the roundabout traveling in the left lane attempting to exit and proceed to Webb City.

The teenager and a passenger in her vehicle, Jimmy L. Jackson, 43, Carl Junction, were treated for minor injuries at Freeman West Hospital, Joplin.
