A Carthage woman was injured in a one-vehicle accident 10:30 p.m. Saturday on MO 171 one mile west of Carthage.
According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2010 Honda Civic driven by Jocelyn P. Cortez, 18, Carthage, struck a deer, began to skid and traveled off the right side of the roadway.
Cortez was treated for minor injuries at Mercy Carthage.
