Cause of derailment of five loaded rail cars south of Neosho under investigation

Five loaded rail cars carrying paper on a CPKC train derailed at approximately 3 a.m. Friday south of Neosho, Missouri.

· There were no injuries, no hazardous materials involved and there is no threat to public safety or the environment.

 
· CPKC teams are on site and with additional equipment and crews responding to begin the clean up of the rail cars.

 
· The cause of the derailment is under investigation.
