Joplin Police investigating series of suspicious fires

On November 11, 2015, the Joplin Police Department responded to a series of suspicious fires.

At or about 1:09 AM, 1703 E. Campbell Pkwy. A vehicle in the parking lot was set on fire.

At or about 2:20 AM, 1208 S Grand. A vehicle parked in the alley behind the home was set on fire.

At or about 2:30 AM, 1031 S Joplin, (Covey Paint and Body Shop). A dumpster and wall behind this business was set on fire.

Joplin Police Detectives responded and the investigation continues. The Joplin Police Department requests any person that has knowledge of any suspicious person or activity to please call Sgt. Trevor Duncan at 417-623-3131 Ext. 600.
