A Sarcoxie man was charged with driving while intoxicated (drugs) following a one-vehicle accident 8:35 p.m. Thursday on Apple Road, one mile south of Fidelity.
According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee driven by Travis A. Berdine, 37, Sarcoxie, ran off the roadway and struck a culvert.
Berdine was treated for moderate injuries at Freeman West Hospital, Joplin.
In addition to DWI, Berdine was charged with no insurance, failure to register vehicle, and no seat belt.
