Strong Armed Robbery at Northpark Mall, 101 N. Rangeline Rd.
At 1343 hours, Joplin Police Officers responded to a report of a robbery at Northpark Mall.
The
victim reported that while exiting her vehicle, she was approached by a white male and assaulted
by being shoved up against her vehicle. The suspect then stole the victim’s purse, and fled the
area to the southeast from the mall, in a dark tan colored vehicle.
The victim received minor
injuries that did not require medical attention.
The suspect is described as a white male slender build, about 5 feet 9 inches to about 6 feet tall.
The suspect vehicle was described as a dark tan four door car, possibly a Chevrolet Malibu or Impala.
