Two more Joplin residents injured in roundabout accident

Two Joplin residents were injured in a two-vehicle accident 5:30 p.m. Sunday at the roundabout at MO 171, two miles north of Joplin.

According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2012 Toyota Corolla driven by Robert G. York, 81, Webb City, was entering the roundabout and failed to yield to a 2006 Mercury Mountaineer driven by Amyana Coble, 17, Joplin, which was exiting.

Coble and a passenger, Dorothy Coble, 42, Joplin, were treated for minor injuries at Mercy Hospital, Joplin.
