A Dodge City, Kansas, man was injured in a one-vehicle accident 6 a.m. today on I-44, four miles west of Sarcoxie.
According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2011 Peterbilt driven by Robert J. Alger, 26, Dodge City, traveled off the right side of the road, striking a guard rail, several trees, and a fence.
Alger was treated for minor injuries at Mercy Hospital, Joplin.
