A Carthage woman was injured in a one-vehicle accident 11 a.m. today on U. S. 160, five miles south of Liberal on U. S. 160.
According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2009 Toyota Corolla driven by Emily N. Patrick, 33, Carthage, lost control on the wet pavement, traveled off the right edge of the roadway, overcorrected, traveled off the left side of the roadway and struck a ditch. The vehicle came to rest in a field.
Patrick was treated for minor injuries at Freeman West Hospital, Joplin.
