A Lamar teen was injured in a one-vehicle accident 10:35 a.m. today on I-44, one mile west of Fidelity.
According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2006 Chevrolet 1500 driven by James J. Norton, 22, Lamar, swerved to avoid a merging vehicle, ran off the right side of the road and overturned.
A passenger, Megain J. Ridenour, 18, Lamar, was treated for minor injuries at Mercy Hospital, Joplin.
