On Monday, 02/06/2017, A local Jasper man was arrested on suspicion of DWI near 1st and Milk St. by Jasper PD officers after being stopped for a traffic violation. We had recieved complaints in the past about this person driving under the influence at all times of the day. Thanks to that information, officers were able to identify the vehicle and the person driving where they observed a traffic violation which led to the stop after following the suspect and vehicle.
Please report things to us...... Instances like this the information is useful and leads to arrests in an attempt in making the streets of Jasper safer for the citizens.
