Two Verona residents were injured in a one-vehicle accident 1:29 p.m. Sunday on Farm Road 2200, two miles west of Verona.
According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2001 Honda ATV driven by Ricky J. Buller, 36, Verona, traveled off the west side of the roadway and struck a fence post.
Buller was airlifted to Freeman West Hospital, Joplin, with serious injuries. A passenger, Tristan W. Buller, 6, Verona, was treated for minor injuries at Freeman West.
