After the recent storms we have received several calls about roofing companies going door to door and asking to inspect your roof for damages.
These companies must obtain a permit at City Hall to conduct door to door sales and also should be licensed with the City of Webb City as a contractor.
Before agreeing to either the inspection or repair of your roof one should check to make sure the company they are doing business with is Licensed, bonded and insured.
Unfortunately the scammers will be out trying to take advantage after the storm and this is the only way we have to protect our residents from those who would seek to conduct these scams.
