Today, December 11, 2017, we received a phone call from a fire district citizen stating that they received a phone call asking for donations on behalf of the fire department. The citizen stated that when they asked if the donations were going to be given to Redings Mill Fire District, the reply from the caller, was that they were working on that agreement.
The Redings Mill Fire District does not receive donations from telemarketer type phone calls. Nor has the fire district ever hired anyone to make phone calls asking for donations.
Please DO NOT make an over the phone donation expecting it to go to Redings Mill Fire District.
