An Illinois woman was injured in a two-vehicle accident 6:45 a.m. today on westbound I-44 145.2 mile maker in Laclede County.
According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2013 Ford Escape driven by Addison L. Keel, 21, Belleville, Illinois, drove off the left side of the roadway, returned to the road and drove under the towed unit of a 2016 Freightliner tractor-trailer driven by Charlene D. Taylor-Rhame, 49, Joplin. Both vehicles came to rest in the roadway.
Keel was treated for minor injuries at Mercy Hospital, Lebanon.
