A Southwest City man was killed in a one-vehicle accident 10:20 p.m. Monday on MO 59 south of Ginger Blue.
According to the Highway Patrol report, a 1999 Dodge Ram 1500 driven by Jordan D. Hathcock, 64, Southwest City, ran off the roadway and overturned.
A passenger, James M. Newby, 51, Southwest City, was pronounced dead at the scene by McDonald County Deputy Coroner John Fletcher at 11:35 p.m.
The fatality was the 115th this year for Highway Patrol Troop D.
