Joplin Police Department arrests man on motorcycle at 3rd and Joplin on meth, DWI charges

Last night at 11:45 p.m. an officer on patrol saw a motorcycle pull up and park at 3rd and Joplin.

The female passenger walked away towards some construction equipment. The officer circled the block and saw the male now hiding in the shadows next to a building. 



The male was contacted and the female was located around the corner. The male said that he didn't know the female who was just riding on his motorcycle. The female said they have known each other for five months. 

The male was arrested for being in possession of 10 grams of meth, drug paraphernalia, driving while impaired and driving while revoked. He also had a Full US Extradition Parole Revocation Warrant. 

The female was arrested on three JPD warrants.
