Joplin woman seriously injured in crash on Zora

A Joplin woman was injured in a two-vehicle collision 10:05 a.m .today on Zora, one mile north of Joplin.

According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2001 Jeep Cherokee driven by Alisa M. Mathis, 53, Joplin, crossed the center line and struck a 2010 Chrysler Town and Country driven by Mildred M. Hight, 76, Joplin, causing both vehicles to travel off the roadway.

Mathis was treated for serious injuries at Freeman West Hospital, Joplin.
