Immigration issue explored in children's book written by Joplin High School/South Middle School alumnus

Jacobo ‘Cobo’ Oviedo, a Joplin High School and South Middle School alumnus released a passion project this week on Amazon and Kindle.

The idea for the children's book Quien Soy You? Who Am I? was sparked by the volatile political climate surrounding legal and illegal immigration to the country.

Cobo, a Mexican American raised in Southwest Missouri, knows and understands both sides of the argument and wants to bring a simpler understanding to the table.

The project, a children’s book, is a conversation between a child and his father.

The book, self-authored and illustrated, is available for purchase on Amazon for $10.20 and the EBook available for $2.99 on the Kindle reader app. Just search “Cobo Oviedo”. Questions, Comments, requests for Cobo? Email him directly at coboskidsbooks@gmail.com

The book can also be purchased in the paperback and e-book formats at the Amazon links below.
