Joplin man seriously injured in crash on 43

A Joplin man was injured in a two-vehicle collision 6:51 p.m. Wednesday on MO 43, three miles south of Joplin.

According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2006 Chevy Malibu driven by Kelly K. Draper, 32, Joplin, crossed the center line and struck a Dodge 3500 truck driven by Monte K. Ward, 32, Joplin.

Draper was treated for serious injuries at Freeman West Hospital, Joplin.
