  2. My husband and I live near the area of the accident. We were outside when it all happened and heard a lot of things that don’t line up with the motorcyclist “losing control.”

There was a lot of shouting, something that sounded like glass shattering, and then the sound of a diesel truck driving away.

The motorcyclist would drive up and down Racoon Rd and the surrounding area at ALL hours of the night and into the morning and sounded like he was traveling very fast. His motorcycle was obnoxiously loud and could be heard from MILES away.

It is a tragic ordeal that could have been prevented. I am very skeptical that the motorcyclist innocently “lost control.” In my opinion, he should be in jail. I understand that he’s a 20 year old kid, but he is also know to use meth and isn’t exactly a positive contributor to the community. He should be in jail.

    1. They didnt lose control of the bike until they hit the victim. At that point, it threw the female passenger on the back of the bike off and the rider stopped and picked her up and took off. She was then complaining on fb that her head hurt and she had blood on her but never said why. The victim was in the road to flag the riders down and tell them to slow down. No, he shouldn't have been in the road. Also, there are no skid marks on the roadway and they were picked up on someone's security cameras showing that the people in the road had flashlights and the riders flying by at a high rate of speed and not breaking speed when they reached the flashlights.

    2. And he isn’t in jail?! My husband and I debated on calling the police and telling them what all we heard and that we have heard the motorcyclist driving at high speeds late at night on a regular basis.

When we heard him on his bike the night of the incident, I made a comment that he was going to end up getting himself or someone else killed or seriously injured. A few minutes later, we heard it all happen.

It’s just awful. If he isn’t in jail, justice is not being served.

  3. He shouldn't have been in the road. As a fellow biker if there's angry people in the road trying to stop me I'm not stopping either. Trey shouldn't go to jail. For a dumbass trying to knock him off the bike.

    1. At what point did was it stated he was trying to knock him off the bike. I believe it was said to have him slow down. Also regardless him hit him killedd him at he ran instead of staying to check on him. So yes he should go to jail.

  4. Absolutely ridiculous....I have heard so many different stories....most absurd is a line of people holding hands blocking the road way but in the same breath saying they couldn't see anyone....b.s.! Survalince cameras shows the light from flashlights and bikes have headlights impossible for them not to see a line of people if indeed there was a line of people blocking the road! Tragic and horrible! Calls have been made by several people over these bikes high rates of speed....definitely think it's time to patrol more to prevent any further deaths, accidents, etc

  5. We also live close by where this happened we heard the bikes up an down our road all evening an seen two of them traveling extremely fast went past our place as a blur yes Mr Arehart should not of been in roadway but I'm sure he also had no idea who he was dealing with had he known these people where ruthless druggies from what most of our town knows to be a fact an that they fight dogs he most likely would have made other choices to handle the situation in my opinion he should have chased them down and rid out small town of such nuisances beings how it seems our law enforcement ignored all the past issues other wise he would of been in jail for his crimes an this horrible incident would never have happen possibly he's an informant or knows all the right people certainly has to be one of those for him to remain free

  6. He should be in jail. I heard the story from someone who was there and the biker supposedly hit him on purpose. The man was trying to get the biker to knock off the racket, and the biker hit him. A family lost their father (he had children and a grandchild on the way) and nothing is being done about it.
