Jasper woman injured in head-on collision north of Carthage

A Jasper woman was injured in a two-vehicle collision 11:45 a.m. today on Pembrook Road, six miles north of Carthage.

According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2011 Ford truck driven by Daniel S. Cawyer, 47, Carthage, crossed the center of the road and struck a 2013 Kia Soul driven by Carol A. Butcher, 71, Jasper, head on.

Butcher was treated for minor injuries at Mercy Hospital, Joplin.
