So you want to be an Anderson Police patrol officer

The City of Anderson Police Department is currently seeking applications for the position of:

Patrolman

Minimum requirements for employment as a Patrolman are:

1.Be at least 21 years of age.

2.Be free of any felony convictions or misdemeanors involving domestic violence or moral turpitude.

3.Be of good character as determined by a thorough background investigation.








4.Be a high school graduate or have passed the General Education Development (GED) Test indicating high school graduation level.

5.Possess a valid driver's license.

6.Be Missouri P.O.S.T. Certified.

7.Be a resident of the State of Missouri

Starting pay for a City of Anderson Police Officer is $15.00 hourly, with a pay increase after you have successfully completed a 90 day probationary period. At that time you will receive benefits such as retirement, City paid insurance and life insurance.

Interested applicants can apply at the Anderson City Hall, located at 103 W Beaver St. Anderson, MO 64831. Applications are also available online but will have to be turned in by the applicant at City Hall. Application deadline is Monday, September 30th at 4:00pm.
