Neosho woman killed in collision near Redings Mill

A Neosho woman was killed and a Neosho man injured in a two-vehicle collision 2:50 p.m. Thursday on Route C, two miles south of Redings Mill.

According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2016 Ford Fusion driven by Morgan D. Davis, 23, Seneca, failed to yield to a 1981 GMC Sierra driven by Chris P. Tripp, 58, Neosho, and the vehicles collided.

The Tripp vehicle overturned, ejecting the passenger, Jane R. Tripp, 56, Neosho.







Dr. Pace at Mercy Hospital, Joplin, pronounced Jane Tripp dead at 4:03 p.m.

Chris Tripp was treated for moderate injuries at Mercy.

The fatality was the 81st this year for Highway Patrol Troop D.
