We are Hiring

We are seeking qualified FEMALE applicants for the position of Jailer in the McDonald County Detention Center.

Minimum requirements for employment as Jailer are:

1. Be a citizen of the United States.
2. Be at least 18 years of age.

3. Be free of any felony convictions or misdemeanors involving domestic violence or moral turpitude.

4. Be of good character as determined by a thorough background investigation.

5. Be a high school graduate or have passed the General Education Development (GED) Test
indicating high school graduation level.

6.Possess a valid driver's license.

Starting hourly pay for Jailer position is $10.10 hour for non-P.O.S.T. certified applicants and $12.02 hour for P.O.S.T. certified applicants.
