Granby man killed in collision east of Neosho

A Granby man was killed in a two-vehicle accident 6:05 p.m. Wednesday on Highway H, four miles east of Neosho.

According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2006 Nissan Sentra driven by George W. Eads, 90, Granby, failed to yield to a 2014 Ford Mustang driven by Jeffrey T. Parman, 25, Rocky Comfort.

Newton County Coroner Dale Owen pronounced Eads dead at 7:06 p.m.








Parman was treated for moderate injuries at Freeman West Hospital, Joplin.

The fatality was the 76th this year for Highway Patrol Troop D.
