08/03/2022 Officer was dispatched to the 1300 block of E. 19th, in reference to a mailbox being hit. Investigation continues.

08/03/2022 Officer was contacted about a purse that was left and stolen in the 300 block of W. 10th. Investigation continues.

08/04/2022 Officer recovered a stolen vehicle in the 1200 block of Walnut. One person was arrested for warrants out of Cedar County and Vernon County. One person was arrested and placed on a 24 hr hold. Warrants were issued for tampering with a motor vehicle and resist felony arrest.

08/04/2022 Officer was dispatched to the 200 block of W. 12th in reference to a fake check written at the store. A report was sent to the Barton County Prosecuting Attorney for charges.

08/04/2022 Officers were dispatched to the 1400 block of Broadway for a domestic in progress. One person was transported to the Barton County Jail and placed on a 24 hr hold to obtain a warrant for driving while revoked and resisting arrest.








08/05/2022 Officer responded to the 800 block of Oak St. One person was transported to the Vernon County Jail and placed on a 24 hr hold for assault on law enforcement and resisting arrest.
 
08/06/2022 Officer was dispatched to the 100 block of East 12th for 2 intoxicated individuals. One person was issued a summons for driving while intoxicated.

08/07/2022 Officer took a report of a purse stolen from a vehicle. Investigation continues.

08/07/2022 Officers were dispatched to the 1200 block of Mill St. in reference to a domestic disturbance. One person was arrested for Assault Domestic 3rd Degree.
