Seventh annual Joplin Arts and Cultural Preview set for Saturday

(From Connect2Culture)

The Joplin arts and cultural community will convene in-person for Connect2Culture’s 7th Annual Joplin Arts & Cultural Preview on Saturday, August 13, 2022, 10:00am at Joplin Public Library, Community Room West (1901 E 20th St, Joplin, MO 64804).

The Joplin Arts & Cultural Preview gives Joplin area arts and cultural organizations the chance to tell their story, share what they have planned for the year ahead (2022-2023), and why you might be interested! Each organization will have up to two minutes to update the community.

This event is part of C2C’s roundtable series and aims to educate the public about upcoming events and encourage collaboration between participating organizations, as well as inform the media about potential opportunities for an interesting story. All are welcome to attend.

“We always look forward to this important annual event,” says Emily Frankoski, Director of Connect2Culture. “In its seventh year, forty different local arts, culture, or entertainment organizations are registered to present about their mission and upcoming programming. The 2022-2023 season is going to be packed with things to do and experience and we couldn’t be more excited to help facilitate spreading the word by organizing and hosting this event!”

Registration for audience members, who are not presenting on behalf of an organization, is not required.

A recording, created by Missouri Southern State University KGCS students, will be made available on Connect2Culture’s YouTube channel after the event.

Our area is rated medium for COVID-19 according to the CDC. Those that do not feel well or have symptoms of COVID-19 should not attend..
