Seneca man suffers serious injuries in crash on 43

A Seneca man was injured in a two-vehicle collision on MO 43 one mile south of Joplin.

According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2010 Chevrolet Equinox driven by Steve A. VanPelt, 80, Seneca, crossed the center line and struck the side of a 2016 Ford Expedition driven by Jeremy C. Foust, 49, Wyandotte, Oklahoma.

VanPelt was treated for serious injuries at Freeman West Hospital, Joplin.
