11/07/2022 While conducting an investigation, officer discovered suspect had not reported changes in information for Registering as a Sex Offender. A probable cause affidavit was submitted to the Prosecuting Attorney.

11/10/2022 Officer took a report of fraud. Suspect was arrested for financial exploitation of the elderly a Class C Felony. Suspect was arrested and transported to the Barton County Jail.








In the past week, Officers have received numerous reports of fraud where money was paid for work or property and nothing was received. Subject was arrested and transported to the Barton County Sheriff’s Dept, where he was charged with stealing. He was released on a $10,800 cash bond the next day; however, was quickly arrested again on charges of Stealing - $750 or more and transported to the Barton County Jail.

11/11/2022 Suspect was arrested and transported to the Barton County Jail on a warrant for Stealing - $750 or more.
