06/07/2023 Officer was dispatched to the 300 block of W. 9th for report of a burglary. Investigation continues.

06/072023 Officer responded to a call in the 1700 block of Broadway; a tire had been slashed. Investigation continues.

06/08/2023 Officer conducted a traffic stop at 12th & Maple. Driver was arrested for DWI/Drug Intox., prohibited person possession of firearm and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia. Methamphetamine was located in the vehicle and will be sent to the lab to be tested., charges pending.

06/08/2023 Officer was advised of a Careless & Imprudent driver under the influence of intoxicants that was traveling on SW 1st Ln. Officer conducted a traffic stop; driver was transported to the Barton County Jail and issued a summons for Driving While Intoxicated.

06/10/2023 Officer conducted a traffic stop at the intersection of 12th & Gulf. Driver was arrested for DWI, issued a citation and released.

06/11/2023 Officer was dispatched to the 400 block of W. 13th in reference to a theft from a motor vehicle. Another party called and said they had a theft from motor vehicle. Later the officer located a suspect, who then admitted to 4 thefts. She was taken to the Barton County Jail to be booked and released with 4 summonses for stealing.
