(From Missouri State Highway Patrol)Captain Ryan A. Burckhardt, commanding officer of Troop C, Weldon Spring, is pleased to announce the assignment of five new troopers to Troop C.
The new troopers were members of the Missouri State Highway Patrol’s 117th Recruit Class which graduated from the Patrol Academy on June 23, 2023. The new troopers from the 117th Recruit Class will report for duty on July 10, 2023.
Trooper Jade M. Doyle, a native of Carthage, Missouri, has been assigned to Zone 2, serving the citizens of North St. Louis County. Trooper Doyle is a 2017 graduate of Carthage High School in Carthage, Missouri. Prior to his appointment to the Highway Patrol, Trooper Doyle was employed by Schreiber Foods in Carthage, Missouri.
Trooper Dalton B. Howell, a native of Thayer, Missouri, has been assigned to Zone 3, serving the citizens of South St. Louis County. Trooper Howell is a 2015 graduate of Thayer High School in Thayer, Missouri. After high school, Trooper Howell joined the United States Army where he served as a combat engineer. Trooper Howell is married Cheyenne Howell.
Trooper Hunter L. Rivera, a native of Steelville, Missouri, has been assigned to Zone 4, serving the citizens of South St. Louis County. Trooper Carson is a 2020 graduate of Steelville High School in Steelville, Missouri. After graduating high school, Trooper Rivera joined the United States Marine Corps and served as a hazmat technician. He was also employed as a secruity guard with Allied Universal in Columbia, Missouri.

Trooper Ogborn is a 2016 graduate of Wright City High School in Wright City, Missouri. Prior to his appointment to the Highway Patrol, Trooper Ogborn was employed as a laborer for ECF Services in Wright City, Missouri.
Trooper Caleb C. De Alba, a native of Naylor, Missouri, has been assigned to Zone 3, serving the citizens South St. Louis County. Trooper De Alba is a 2020 graduate of Naylor High School in Naylor, Missouri. After graduation, Trooper De Alba joined the United States Army National Guard where he served as a motor transportation specialist. He has also been employed by Redeemed Roofing in Puxico, Missouri.
