(From Jasper Fire Protection District)It is with regret and sadness that we announce that Jasper Fire Protection District board member Charles Schlichting passed away early this morning after a recent illness.
Charley was a member of the Jasper Volunteer Fire Department many years ago and became one of our district board members during the inception of the district in 2015. Since then he has been very supportive of our firefighters and the district.
Please keep his family in your prayers. He will be missed.
