The General Session for the Jasper County Commission was called to order at 9:00 a.m. on June 13, 2023, in room 101 of the Jasper
County Courthouse by Presiding Commissioner John Bartosh.
The meeting was opened with a prayer by Jasper County Sheriff Randee Kaiser followed by the pledge of allegiance.
Roll Call:
Presiding Commissioner John Bartosh, Commissioner Darieus K. Adams, and Commissioner Tom Flanigan were present.
Approval of Minutes:
Commissioner Adams made a motion to approve the minutes from the June 6, 2023, General Session. Commissioner Flanigan
seconded the motion. By unanimous vote, the minutes were approved.

Reports and Communication:
Commissioner Adams wished to recognize the accomplishments of our friend and supporter, Ron Richard. Ron served Jasper County
for 8 years in the Missouri House of Representatives becoming the Speaker of the House and then served as our Senator for 8 years
gaining the recognition as the first person in Missouri history to be Speaker of the House and President Pro Tem of the Missouri
Senate. Senator Richard always supported and fought for Jasper County, and he will be greatly missed.
