This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of the Missouri
Ozarks and extreme southeast Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

Weather hazards expected...

  Limited hail risk.
  Elevated thunderstorm wind damage risk.
  Elevated lightning risk.

DISCUSSION...

A thunderstorm complex will move into southeast Kansas and
southwest Missouri after midnight. Damaging wind gusts up to 75
mph is the most likely hazard along with cloud to ground
lightning. Hail to the size of quarters will be possible.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday.

The morning thunderstorm complex will slowly weaken across
southern Missouri.

Dangerous heat will build in Wednesday through Friday with both
temperatures and heat index values at or above 100. Heat index
values near 105 are likely Thursday and Friday.

Thunderstorm chances increase this weekend.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

 Spotter activation may be needed tonight for southeast Kansas and
southwest Missouri.
