06/12/2022 Officer took a report of a theft not in progress in the 1000 block of E. 7th St. Investigation continues.

06/12/2023 Officer observed a male banging on the door of a residence in the 1700 block of Gulf, then breaking the window on the door. Suspect was arrested and transported to the Barton County Jail where he was issued a summons for property damage.

06/13/2023 Officers served a search warrant at a residence in the 1700 block of Gulf; 26 grams of methamphetamines was seized in the search.
 
06/13/2023 Officer received a phone call from a business owner on the square in reference to unknown people on the roof of his business. Made contact with two individuals and issued each a summons for trespassing.

06/13/2023 Officer was dispatched to a physical domestic in progress in the 1100 block of Arthur Aull St. One person was arrested for Domestic Assault 3rd Degree and transported to the Barton County Jail where he placed on a 24 hr hold.

06/14/2023 A flag with pole was found and placed in evidence for safekeeping.
 
06/16/2023 Officer observed a white male come from private property near 11th & Lexington. Individual was in possession of a backpack which included stolen property; he was transported to the Barton County Jail and Felony PC paperwork was forwarded to the Prosecuting Attorney.








06/15/2023 Officers were dispatched to the 300 block of W. 9th St. regarding a physical domestic. One party was placed under arrest and taken to the Barton County Sheriff’s Office on a 24 hr hold for kidnapping 3rd degree.

06/15/2023 Officer was dispatched to the 1100 block of Hagny for a report of a music being played loudly. A summons for peace disturbance was issued.

06/18/2023 Officers responded to a check well being call in the 700 block of W. 8th St. One person was arrested for endangering welfare of a child and transported to the Vernon County Jail.
