Parsons Police Department Deputy Chief Dodd said, "this is a very sad incident for Parsons. The recklessness that was shown with these firearms could have gotten an innocent party killed. Although this heinous attack was targeted at one particular party the situation escalated to multiple buildings and vehicles having been shot. We do not take these situations lightly and will look to bring Mr. Herman to justice as quickly as possible to answer for these actions. We have a responsibility to the safety of our citizens and will do whatever we can to bring Mr. Herman in peacefully."
This continues to be an on-going investigation and citizens are encouraged to "See It, Hear It, Report It." If anyone has any further information on this incident or any other criminal activity, please contact the Parsons Police Department at 421-7060 or call the Tip Line at 421-7057 or email at tips@parsonspd.com.
