A Nevada woman was killed in a two-vehicle accident 9:41 a.m. today on MO 43 two miles east of Liberal.
According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2008 Toyota Rav4 driven by Diana M. Shopper, 67, Nevada, failed to stop at a stop sign and pulled into the path of a 2010 Ford F150 driven by Casey M. Lewis, 25, Osceola.
Shopper was pronounced dead at the scene by Barton County Coroner Sarah Rutledge.
The fatality was the 121st this year for Highway Patrol Troop D.
