(From Crowder College)Crowder College had two students earn honors on the 2024 All-Missouri Academic team: Ernie Ishcomer and Savanna Davidson
Both students were recognized at this year’s Phi Theta Kappa & Missouri Community College Association luncheon held at Stephens College in Columbia in April.
"Congratulations to Ernie Ishcomer (Neosho) and Savanna Davidson (Joplin), both of whom were named to the 2024 All-Missouri Academic Team (only 50 in the state), stated Dr. David Schieffler, co-sponsor PTK & Crowder History instructor. “This honor, awarded jointly by Phi Theta Kappa and MCCA, recognizes "high-achieving two-year college students who demonstrate academic excellence, intellectual rigor, leadership, and service that extends their education beyond the classroom to benefit society."
Each student received a medal and a cash scholarship in recognition of this distinction.
Schieffler and Suzanne Prior, PTK co-sponsor & English instructor, attended the event with the students.
