Three people were injured in a two-vehicle collision 1:05 p.m. Saturday on Kodiak Road seven miles west of Diamond.
According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2012 Cadillac driven by Betty S. Putnam, 72, Cassville, tried to pass another vehicle and struck a 2013 Chrysler 200 driven by Ellena L. Holt, 47, Neosho head on.
Putnam was treated for serious injuries at Mercy Joplin.
Holt was treated for serious injuries and a passenger in the Putnam vehicle, Bryan Woods, 19, Cassville, for moderate injuries at Freeman West Hospital, Joplin.
