A Carthage man was cited for DWI following a one-vehicle accident 1:50 a.m. today on I-44 one mile west of Springfield.
According to the Highway Patrol report, a 20008 Cadillac CTS driven by Roberto E. Lopez-Dominquez left the roadway and struck a post and a light pole.
Lopez-Dominquez, who was also cited for careless and imprudent driving, was treated for minor injuries at Cox South Hospital, Springfield.
