Charges filed, $10,000 bond set for Joplin man in Software Center burglary

January 8, 2015, the Jasper County Prosecuting Attorney's office filed charges against Ricky Doke, age 34, Joplin, for burglary, second degree, and for theft stealing (value of property or services $500 or more, but less than $25,000).

A warrant has been issued and the amount of bond is set at $10,000, plus $2,500 cash.

On December 28, 2014, the Joplin Police Department responded to a burglary at The Software Center, 2604 E. 7th St.

On January 2, 2015, the Joplin Police Department responded to a burglary at Hidden Acres Antiques, 1508 E. 32nd St.

On January 7, 2014, investigation by Joplin Police detectives led to the recovery of a very large amount of stolen property from the burglaries and to the arrest of Ricky Doke, age 34, of Joplin, MO. (no listed address)

The value of the items stolen from Hidden Acres Antiques and recovered by Joplin Police detectives is $44,455.00.
