Neosho man cited for DWI after crash injures two

A Neosho man was charged with driving while intoxicated following a one-vehicle crash in which he and a passenger were injured 11:20 p.m. Saturday on MO 86, a half mile east of Neosho.

According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2007 Chevrolet Cobalt driven by Patrick W. Robbins, 32, Neosho, ran off the right side of the roadway, struck a driveway, and overturned.

Robbins was treated for minor injuries and a passenger, Alicia M. Sturgeon, 33, Neosho, for moderate injuries at Freeman West Hospital, Joplin.

In addition to the DWI charge, Robbins was cited for felony assault, careless and imprudent driving, no seat belt, and no insurance.
