Pedestrian injured during three-vehicle accident near Pineville

A man whose car was broken down  was injured during an accident in which three vehicles were involved 9:45 p.m. Wednesday on U. S. 71, three miles south of Pineville.

According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2003 Honda Civic was disabled in the right lane of the roadway and was being pushed without its light on when it went into the left lane. Robin F. Jackson, 49, Neosho, driving a 2003 Ford Econoline came upon the incident, slowed and moved to the right lane.A 2003 Ford F-150 came upon the incident, sideswiped the Econoline and rear ended the Civic.

One of the pedestrians who was pushing the Civic, Gabriel Acota-Valdez, 29, Anderson, was treated for minor injuries at Northwest Regional Medical Center, Rogers, Arkansas.
