Man injured in car-tree collision near Joplin
A Baxter Springs, Kansas man was injured in a one-vehicle accident 11:25 p.m. Wednesday on Apricot Drive, one mile south of Joplin.
According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2004 Mercury Grand Marquis driven by Johnny L. Murry, 61, Baxter Springs, slid off the roadway and struck a tree.
Murry was treated for moderate injuries at Freeman West Hospital, Joplin.
