The Missouri Southern State University Office of Alumni & Constituent Relations and the School of Health Sciences will host the next MoSo Monday event at 5:30 p.m. Monday, Nov. 28, in the León Health Sciences Building.
Area healthcare professionals are invited to come network with alumni, colleagues and healthcare leaders from the community. Members of the MSSU faculty, staff and administration also will be present.
“We hope everyone will enjoy appetizers and learn about the great new things happening in the MSSU School of Health Sciences,” says Lee Elliff Pound, director of alumni and constituent relations.
One item to be discussed will be the Yours to Lose -- Advanced Medical School Acceptance Program, a partnership between Missouri Southern and the Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences-College of Osteopathic Medicine (KCU).
KCU plans to open a new campus next fall in Joplin. The program will allow up to 25 Missouri Southern students to be admitted into the medical school at the same time they are accepted to MSSU.
There is no charge to attend MoSo Monday. However, advance registration is requested.
